At the weekend we announced we will be taking part in a friendly tournament in Madrid next month, where we will take on Spain and Mexico. We have earmarked this as the first tournament to develop the players on our Euro2025 pathway. Typically we have only been able to fund participation for a Home Nations and Development Home Nations each year. Sponsorship funding has allowed us to plan this trip for the squad to go and compete while making family memories. Deans Civil Engineering branding will be with us in Madrid and will be visible, as will logo on social media content. We have been able to purchase all players and coaches the latest SFA training wear which they now proudly own.
Since our partnership the players have taken part in two international training camps at Inverclyde, this is a provision we have never been able to provide until this now. We would love to invite you both and some colleagues to the next camp on Saturday 10th February 2024. A chance to meet the squad and have a shot at Powerchair football too should you wish. This will be ahead of the Euro warm up tournament we will be hosting in April, we would also like to extend an invitation to this event. Matches will be played over Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April 2024.
